What details are mandatory to generate login / transaction passwords online?

Customer ID, Valid and Active ATM/Debit Card Number, ATM PIN, Mobile Number.

How can I register mobile number and email address?

You can register your mobile number/email ID by visiting your nearest Dhanlaxmi Bank branch.

If I use ATM PIN for online resetting of my NetBanking password, will the ATM PIN get disabled/reset?

No. Your ATM PIN will not get disabled/reset after using the Online Password Generation facility.

What happens if I have entered incorrect OTP 3 times?

For security purpose, your current session gets closed. You have to again initiate the process of Online Password Generation.

Is there any limitation on the number of times one can use Online Password Generation?

No, there are no limitations. Online Password Generation is the facility of online resetting of NetBanking password. This facility enables the customer to access his/her account instantly incase they have forgotten their NetBanking password.

Are there any charges for using Online Generation Password facility?

No. Online Generation Password facility is FREE of cost.

If ATM PIN is locked after three wrong attempts, how can I unlock?

If ATM PIN is locked at ATM then it will be unlocked automatically after 24 hours.ATM Pin will not get locked, if you try with wrong ATM Pin while generating Net Banking password Online.

If my ATM/Debit Card is locked, will it work here?

No. You can try after the ATM gets automatically unlocked after 24 hours.

What is format of the passwords?

Minimum 8 and Maximum 15 Characters, Minimum one lower case alphabet, one UPPER CASE alphabet number and special character like @ , # ; * . ! : Please refer the password policy in the password creation page for further details.

I am not getting OTP (One Time Password) on my mobile. Please let us know what to do?

If your mobile number is not registered, then you need to visit the branch to update your mobile number.

I have not registered mobile number. Can I get OTP on email address?

NO, as per RBI Guideline, OTP can be sent only to registered Mobile Number.

If I enter three times wrong ATM PIN while Internet Banking Password generation, what will happen and then what to do?

Nothing will happen. You can try generating Online Password by trying the correct ATM PIN later.

I forgot only Login Password. I remember my Transaction Password. I want to change my login password only. Is it possible?

No. While generating passwords, you need to reset login and transaction passwords at a time.

What is time limit of OTP?

90 sec. Within 90 sec of receipt of OTP, it needs to be entered in OTP Field.

If I will receive OTP after time limit, then what to do? Do I need to start again?

OTP will not be validated, if it is received late due to any network issue at operator end or your mobile is not reachable. You need to re-start/re-initiate the process again.

Can I get OTP on Mobile and Email at a time?

NO. You will receive OTP only to your registered Mobile Number.

I have more than one ATM/Debit Cards linked to one account. Can I use any card to generate of passwords?

Yes. Any ATM/Debit Card of an account of your customer id can be used.

I am joint account holder with primary account holder. Can I generate my password online? What is basic requirement for joint account holder?

Yes. Joint Account Holder’s mode of operation of linked account should be JOF (Joint Or First) OR JOO (Joint Or Others)

I am joint account holder with primary account holder. I have not given application for Internet Banking at Branch. Can I directly generate Internet Banking password via this facility?

No. You need to submit CRF (Channels Request Form) at Branch. Your Login ID (Customer ID) shall be required to register for online access.

I have generated passwords via online few days back. But today my ATM/Debit card is blocked, will I be able to use Internet Banking?

YES. Provided you remember the correct password generated. But you cannot generate password online using the blocked ATM/Debit Card.

I have generated passwords via online few days back. But today my ATM/Debit card PIN is locked after three wrong attempt at ATM, will I be able to use Internet Banking?

Yes. You can use net banking passwords. But you cannot generate new passwords. You need to wait for 24 hours to ATM to be unlocked automatically. Post that you can generate passwords online, if you need.

If my mobile is stolen or lost, what do I need to do? Can anybody generate my password with help of OTP from my mobile?

No. Because Customer ID, ATM/Debit Card Number and ATM PIN is also required apart from Mobile. If your Mobile is stolen or lost, please call our customer care to de-register the same.

Can I directly go to online to generate passwords without Internet Banking request?

No. You need to submit CRF (Channel Request Form) at Branch.

Can I generate passwords from mobile browser? Is it secure?

Yes. Browser is transmitting data via Secured Socket Layer and we have two factor later authentication like ATM/Debit Card Number-PIN and OTP.

Can I use the same login password for Mobile Banking also?

No. Mobile Banking has separate login details. Login ID (As Customer ID) is same but MPIN to be used for login in Mobile Banking.

Can I use my verified by visa passwords of my debit card here?

No. Online Debit Card Password is different.

How many times I can generate passwords online in a day?

There is no limit to generate passwords online in a day.
