Dhanlaxmi Bank has been one of the pioneers in extending NetBanking services to cater to anytime, anywhere banking needs of its customers by leveraging on to its state-of-the-art technology platforms. NetBanking has also been exploited by hackers and fraudsters to deceive the bank's customer and commit frauds. While the bank has best-of-the-breed solutions, processes and people deployed to extend secure banking to its customers, it is important for our customers to know that security is incomplete without you. Customers need to follow secure computing guidelines to avert any frauds or security breaches to their accounts, as keys to the NetBanking accounts are held by respective account owners in the form of NetBanking ID and;passwords.;

  • Keep your NetBanking ID and Passwords confidential and do not disclose it to anybody.
  • Change your Passwords (Login and Transaction) as soon as you receive it by logging into your NetBanking account.;
  • Memorise your Passwords, do not write it down anywhere.
  • Protect your computer accounts with strong passwords. Your passwords should have a minimum of eight;characters containing both letters and numbers with a;combination of uppercase (CAPITAL LETTERS), lowercase (small;letters) and Special Characters - when these are case;sensitive. Use passwords that are hard to guess.;
  • Avoid accessing NetBanking from shared computer networks such as cyber cafes.
  • Do not click on links in the emails or sites other than www.dhanbank.com to access your NetBanking webpage.
  • Always visit the Dhanlaxmi Bank's NetBanking site through Dhanlaxmi Bank's home page by typing the bank's website address (www.dhanbank.com) on to the browser's address bar. Users are encouraged to add the bank's URL to Favorites user computer browser.;
  • Always verify the authenticity of the Bank's NetBanking webpage by checking its URL as 'https://www.dhanbank.in' and the PAD Lock symbol at the bottom corner of the browser before putting in your NetBanking ID and Password.;
  • If your NetBanking ID and Password appear automatically on the login page of NetBanking webpage, you should disable 'Auto Complete' feature on your browser. To disable auto complete feature:
  • Open Internet Explorer, Click on Tools-> Internet Options-> Content.
  • Click on 'Auto Complete', under 'Personal Information'
  • Uncheck 'User names and passwords on forms', click on 'Clear Passwords';
  • Click 'OK';
  • Do cross check your last login information available in NetBanking upon every login to ascertain your last login and monitor any unauthorised logins.;
  • Always type your confidential account information. Do not copy paste it.;
  • Monitor your transactions regularly.
  • Use Dhanlaxmi Bank's 'DhanamAlert' service.
  • Always logout when you exit NetBanking. Do not directly close the browser.
  • Ensure that your browser requirement is up-to-date for accessing NetBanking.;
  • Consider installing security software such as those offered by anti-virus specialists that can help detect virus, filter SPAM and/or ensure secure Internet Usage (firewalls).;
  • Turn off your computer when not in use, to avoid criminals gaining access and misusing it for fraudulent purposes, which includes launching Phishing attacks.;
  • If you receive any suspicious e-mail or website prompts which are asking for your private and confidential information in relation to your account with the Bank, please inform us immediately. You can forward the mail to us at customercare@dhanbank.co.in.
  • Avoid using the same password for multiple applications or Internet services. You should use a unique password for each Web site and purpose.
  • If you have multiple NetBanking IDs, link your accounts under one NetBanking IDs as per bank’s norms of linking accounts.
  • Create and maintain different passwords for Login and for Transactions. This provides additional security for financial transactions through Internet Banking.
  • Keep your PC updated with the latest anti-virus / anti-spyware software.
  • Install a personal firewall on your PC to protect your account.
  • Keep your PC updated with the latest security patches and, most importantly, Do not click on links or open attachments in unknown or unsolicited (spam) emails.
  • Do not to make purchases on unknown sites or sites whose credentials are doubtful.
  • DO NOT transfer funds to OR share your account details with, unknown / non-validated sources.
