Positive Pay

CTS Clearing become more secured with Positive Pay. Positive Pay System enhances the safety of cheque based transactions. Positive Pay involves the process of reconfirming the key details of clearing cheques to the drawee bank before the presentation of the cheques in CTS Grids.

We have enabled Positive Pay in our Internet banking and Mobile Banking, where the customers can submits the details of cheque presented for clearing. Positive Pay can be accessed under

The Positive Pay is enabled for cheque amounts of Rs.50000 and above. The details submitted by issuer of the cheque to the Bank are compared with clearing cheques. If the details match, the cheque will be honoured. If there is a mismatch cheque will be referred to the customer for confirmation.

Positive Pay is enabled for the cheques issued by Dhanlaxmi Bank , presented through CTS Clearing. Customers are requested to submit details in Positive Pay before issuing the Cheque to the Beneficiary.

Only those cheques which are compliant with Positive Pay will be accepted under dispute mechanism at CTS Grids by NPCI.
