Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

Real Time Gross Transfer is used for customer transactions for Rs. 2 laks and above anywhere within India. It is a very secure transfer service and the settlement of the transaction is done immediately when the transaction has been executed.

  • RTGS is an electronic payment system, which provides online settlement of payments between financial institutions. Payment instructions between banks are processed and settled individually and continuously throughout the day [RTGS Window]. Dhanlaxmi Bank customers can make payments to the beneficiary’s a/c in another bank and vice-a-versa.
  • Payee banks and their customers receive funds at any time immediately when the transaction has been executed so they are not exposed to any risk. It is a highly secured system using PKI and includes signing and encryption.
  • All Dhanlaxmi Bank branches are RTGS enabled. Our customers can avail of RTGS services to transfer funds to accounts of other banks, provided those bank branches are also RTGS enabled.

Fund Transfer Amount
The minimum amount for RTGS transactions is Rs. 2 Lakh.

  • For transaction between Rs 2 lakhs and Rs 5 lakhs - Rs.25 per transaction plus service tax
  • For transactions above Rs 5 lakhs - Rs.50 per transaction plus service tax

National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)

The National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) system is an electronic funds transfer system introduced by Reserve Bank of India to help banks transfer funds electronically from one customer account of a NEFT participant bank branch to another customer account of any other NEFT participant bank branch in India.

  • The NEFT there are 48 batches through with the transactions messages are transmitted and settled between banks. The First NEFT Batch time is at 12.30 AM and last at 12.00 midnight on all the days.
  • Dhanlaxmi Bank has started live NEFT operations with all CBS branches that can perform NEFT operations. The customers of all Dhanlaxmi Bank branches can avail of NEFT services to transfer funds to accounts of other banks; provided those bank branches are also NEFT enabled.
  • NEFT is available for walk-in customers up to Rs.50,000.

Bank customers who intend to be the remitters of funds for credit of beneficiary accounts of any other bank shall have to provide the details as mentioned below:

  • Name of the beneficiary bank
  • Name of the branch* designated for fund transfer under RTGS/NEFT
  • The IFSC of the beneficiary bank’s branch
  • The type of account of the beneficiary
  • The account number of beneficiary
  • The name of the beneficiary

The remitter (customer) shall furnish the above details in the ‘ Prescribed Form’ duly signed to avoid repudiation later. The application shall be submitted along with his/her cheque/debit instruction for the amount to be transferred, plus the bank commission. The remitter shall be responsible for the accuracy of the particulars given in the Form.
